The custom raised deck is a perfect place to relax after a stellar (or tough) round. The homeowners desired a versatile weather solution for their irregular shaped deck and pergola. Looking to remain hands off, the homeowner opted for a site assessment. The ShadeFX Service Team measured, assessed the structure and highlighted application considerations.

ShadeFX manufactured and installed two motorized retractable canopies to fit the uniquely shaped space. The larger 22’ x 14’ canopy has an angle cut to accommodate the stairway and protect the main outdoor living area. The smaller canopy measuring 12’ x 14’ covers the outdoor dining space.

To manage rain runoff, both retractable canopies tilt outwards forcing water to the outside edges of the deck, watering the flower beds below. ShadeFX has arranged to seasonally remove the Sunbrella Taupe Tailored Bar Stripe fabric for the homeowners. As soon as spring arrives, the team travels back to the golf community and re-hangs the shades for the season.

For most, the 19^th hole lands you back at the club house. For these avid golfers, the 19^th hole is situated just off their back door and conveniently includes their own four-season cigar room.
