Nestled in a renovated heritage building in Leamington, Ontario, Cured Craft Brewing Co. is a small batch brewery dedicated to crafting quality beer using local ingredients. With a taproom, seasonal food menu, and indoor and outdoor seating, it offers patrons a comfortable and relaxing environment to unwind.

The brewery faced a challenge with their outdoor seating, they needed to provide a weather-protected patio for their customers. They turned to ShadeFX for a comprehensive structure and shade solution. The project was complex, requiring careful planning and innovative design.

ShadeFX rose to the challenge, designing two 15’ x 19’ 4” structures with motorized retractable roofs and gutters. Given the location’s heritage buildings, including the adjacent City Art building, the design required city approval and meticulous rainwater control solutions. Gutters were added to the sides of each roof and a custom gutter at the front of the brewery. The retractable roofs were made with fire and waterproof Serge Ferrari Boulder fabric, and the structures and components were powder-coated Traffic Black.
