Homeowners in Markham, Ontario were one of ShadeFX’s first customers, ordering their original shade system in 2009. After 11 enjoyable summers of sun and rain protection, the homeowners reached out looking to replace their old canopy with an identical remake.

Since then, ShadeFX’s engineering and design team has worked to improve and enhance the operation of the retractable systems. From new carriers that glide effortlessly, to the way the seams and edges of the fabrics are now selvaged, the advancements are endless.

ShadeFX refabricated the 20’ x 12’ Sunbrella Parchment colored retractable canopy. The shade includes 6 wings, resembling the first order which reduces the canopy drop from the standard 22”. The service team traveled to the Southern Ontario city and installed the new motorized retractable canopy system which again resulted in satisfied clients.

The addition of coordinating outdoor curtains around the wooden pergola adds a soft touch to the posts. Now this beautiful backyard oasis is back in full working order and the homeowners can continue to comfortably relax in the shade.
