Looking to achieve a perfect balance in their backyard, these Paris locals contacted ShadeFX. The homeowners and their beloved canine enjoy spending their free time outdoors. Spending time outdoors was becoming unbearable due to limited coverage in their outdoor space.

In search of a low-maintenance weather solution, the homeowners chose a retractable roof. They wanted a solution that they didn’t have to take down during the winter. After a quick visit to their residence by ShadeFX’s service team, our Product Specialist put together a pergola design to be built over the space. The homeowners hired a local contractor for the job who then built the structure to fit the retractable roofs.

Two 14’x10’ roofs were manufactured in the waterproof and fire-retardant Ferrari Champagne fabric. The service team then returned to the site to install the system. Rain gutters powder-coated black were installed for a weather-tight solution.

Now the homeowners and the family pup spend their entire summer sitting comfortably outdoors. The pairing of the large custom pergola and retractable roofs keep the outdoor living area protected from the sun and the rain.
