‘Ha Aheo No O’ Honolulu’, or ‘Honolulu Pride’, is a community-wide motto that folks in the Aloha State live by. Also embracing the Honolulu spirit is the pioneering creativity of Futura Stone and Concrete Products. As an experienced contractor on the Big Island, Futura Stone knows what it takes to stand up against equatorial heat, temperate trade winds, torrential rainfall and the mighty Hawaiian Kona Storms.
And so, you can imagine our delight when Futura Stone reached out to ShadeFX to help with their latest project in the Honolulu Community.
We worked closely with the experts at Futura Stone to install nine manual retractable shades that stretched 14X18, each. Naturally, because we were in the land where ‘wave sliding’ originated, Harbor Time ‘Surf’ fabric was selected.
Working with Future Stone Hawaii was a great experience, and as you can see below, the feeling was mutual.
“I added nine ShadeFX canopies to a pergola project that required total sun and rain protection. When I contacted ShadeFX, I was walked through logical steps that had me choose the appropriate product, orient it properly for rain run off, set the dimensions, and choose the fabric. The entire process was faster and easier than I expected and customer approval came easily because the systems look great. Once ordered, the canopies were delivered on schedule to the mainland freight forwarder that ShadeFX coordinated with on my behalf. Installation was as easy as described and there were no post installation issues. I could not be more satisfied with the purchasing experience and the customer satisfaction ShadeFX provided.”
– Richard Cozzo, Futura Stone of Hawaii
We couldn’t be more pleased to know that our retractable shades are capable of withstanding the gnarly climate of the Big Island. But more importantly, we are stoked that ShadeFX is now a permanent fixture of ‘Ha Aheo No O’ Honolulu’.
