In the small suburb of Lynnfield, this newly constructed home was the perfect canvas for the design professionals. Layering natural wood, geometric patterns and warm textiles, the final look is traditional with splashes of coastal elements.

Around the back of the house, sits a large wooden dining table with matching chairs, perfect for larger gatherings and outdoor dinner parties. The homeowners enjoy all their meals from the best seat in the ‘house’, during the warmer months.

To add functionality to this beautiful space, an attached two-post pergola was built over the dining area. Keeping with the coastal theme, a neutral Sunbrella Oyster 16’x14’ retractable canopy was customized for the structure.

It sits above our outdoor dining space where we eat dinner every evening when weather temps around here finally heat up. This section of the backyard gets strong sun all day, so we needed the shade in order to enjoy our meals outside and not be baked by the summer sun.
